Services for Children with Special Needs

For children with special needs, we generally recommend they take lessons with our instructors who are trained in a method of teaching called ANGELFISH (you can learn more about this method here).

However, due to overwhelming demand for these services and the limited availability of instructors with the certifications to teach students using this specific method, we are no longer accepting new students into our Adaptive Aquatics program at this time.

In the meantime, we can offer swimming lessons for your children using our general format of teaching, following the Red Cross method of instruction. To ensure that this format would benefit your child, we would first recommend that you join us for a Skills Assessment. A 25-minute Skills Assessment is $55.  Skills Assessment are available every day except Fridays.  You may request a Skills Assessment through our online portal, in person at the office, or by phone at your convenience.
