I Don't Like Fees

We don't like fees either!  Which is why we do our best to avoid them as much as necessary.  There are, however, three types of fees that you may or may not incur with us:

MEMBERSHIP FEE

All clients will be assessed a $20 annual membership fee.  The membership fee covers the costs to insure our pools (per Illinois regulations) and ensure that our staff has adequate resources to provide first aid.  Since the bulk of these costs remain the same whether a person attends one lesson or a hundred, we feel that it's more fair to separate out these costs from the general costs of our services.

EARLY DISENROLLMENT FEE - GROUP CLASSES

It will take at least 12-15 weeks to see real improvement in any student's swimming capabilities.  Because of this, we ask that everyone join us for at least three months.  If you cancel your registration during the first three months of your enrollment, a $25 cancellation fee will be imposed.

LATE CANCELLATION FEE - PRIVATE LESSONS ONLY

Swimming lessons are a highly-demanded service and, to a swim school, the availability of a lane is a very valuable and limited resource.  If you provide us with 24-hours notice, we'll cancel or reschedule your private appointment free-of-charge, as that will give us enough time to accommodate someone else in your lane.

An appointment that is cancelled on the day-of or with less than 24-hours notice is considered a late-cancellation. As this makes it tough (but not impossible) for our office staff to fill your spot, a cancellation fee equal to half the value of your appointment will be processed.

If you are booked for an appointment and do not show up for it, this makes it impossible for us to fill your spot and therefore, a cancellation fee equal to the full value of your appointment will be processed.
