How Does Your Children's Learn-to-Swim Program Compare to Classes From Other Swim Clubs?

As a rule, we do not like to compare ourselves to other swim clubs.  We would recommend investigating all options in the area for children’s classes before making a decision to join our own.

What we find most compelling about our Learn-to-Swim (LTS) program for children is:

  • Small class sizes provide your child with peer-to-peer engagement but also provides for more 1-on-1 opportunities
  • We’re interested in building strong foundations before pushing into the logistics of a major or minor swim stroke.  We offer this by making sure that your child is comfortable and relaxed in the water, providing balance, and working on other core skills that develop their foundations
  • We are child-centered, as opposed to being skill-centered. We follow the pace of each student and do not abide by a strict set of deadlines.  We do not force our students to do any activity they’re not comfortable with doing

We believe, for this reason, that our program will offer better results and a more fluent approach to basic safety and water adjustment.  We also teach using methods and structures based on the best in the market today, including Total Immersion, Go Swim, Swim Whisperers, and Red Cross, among others.
