Can I Choose the Sex of My Instructor?

At Chicago Blue Dolphins, we're aware that some students prefer one sex over another.  Swim lessons, by their very nature, can make people feel vulnerable, self-conscious, and embarrassed.  We want to make sure that you are at your utmost level of comfort and confidence when taking these lessons.

We can absolutely honor your request for a specific sex in any private lesson.  With a private lesson, you control when you come, how often you come, and who will teach you. You are welcome to request a male, female, or non-binary instructor.  We recommend calling or visiting our offices if you'd like to arrange for an instructor with a specific sex.
